This is the culminating panel of Ecology Law Quarterly’s 2022 Annual Symposium entitled “Black Women Talk.” The moderators were Candice Youngblood and Alicia Arrington. Speakers included Savonala “Savi” Horne and Kimberly Leefatt.
Candice Youngblood is an Attorney at Earthjustice and an alum of the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. Alicia Arrington is a current student at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. Savonala Horne is Executive Director of the Land Loss Prevention Project. Kimberly Leefatt is an Attorney at the Natural Resources Defense Council.
